Carding Mill Valley, Shropshire, in Winter
A National Trust gem in south Shropshire, the Carding Mill valley is a walkers' and painters' paradise. I love the play of the slanting winter light on the dramatic slopes of the valley and the shock of piercing blue water in the stream.
