River Severn in Winter Flood, Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury stoically accepts the inevitable flooding of the River Severn which almost encircles the Shropshire town. The waters can rise several times a year as nature asserts her powers, causing general disruption but also stunning views. This painting featured in the Shropshire Art Society Summer 2023 exhibition and was bought by an American collector.
